What it actually decides
- Profile cross-section, roughly 17 × 33 mm
- Length in 5 mm steps, quoted as two halves from the fixing screw (30/10, 35/35, …)
- Cam type and cam clock position
- Double-clutch (emergency / hazard) function availability
