TS 007 Enhanced security cylinder standard (1, 2 or 3 star)
The Kitemark standard for cylinders on uPVC and composite doors, aimed at lock snapping. Current edition cited as DHF TS 007-1:2024.
What it actually decides
- Star rating for snapping, picking, bumping and drilling resistance
- That a 1-star cylinder needs a 2-star handle to be an acceptable combination
- That a 3-star cylinder is compliant on its own

Why a retrofit designer cares
